Mixed-Animal Veterinarian – Putāruru Veterinary Services

Location: Putāruru, South Waikato
Hours: up to 32 per week – we’re flexible, with the opportunity to grow your hours 

Love cows AND the occasional pet? Perfect. We’re looking for a vet who can handle a calving in the morning and a cat vaccination in the afternoon without breaking a sweat.

Putāruru Vets is an independent, family-run clinic in the heart of South Waikato—less than an hour from Taupō, Hamilton, and the beach. Plus, the Waikato River Trails are right outside for when you need to clear your head after a busy day.

You’ll join two experienced mixed-animal vets, one large animal tech, and a support crew that keeps the wheels turning. Our clients? Mostly progressive owner-operated dairy farms (200–600 cows) within a 20km radius from the clinic, with a sprinkle of companion animal, dry-stock, and equine work to keep things interesting.
