We’ve seen a massive jump in spore counts this week, now ranging between 325,000 and 535,000 spores per gram, which puts us very firmly in the high‑risk zone.

Despite the recent run of bad weather, the worst of the cyclone activity has largely skipped Putaruru. While we did get some rain, it hasn’t been enough to wash spores out. With warm, humid conditions continuing, these are ideal conditions for spores to persist and keep building.
As always, give us a call if you have any questions.
